My friend is overwhelmed with her circumstances!

She has had a number of months dealing with a appendix that leaked toxins into her abdomen. This has resulted in having to go to wound care three times a week to clean the wound and try to give her the best outcome. They need to be able to give her the best medicine that works with all her conditions and gets her more well. This is proving difficult for her. And she is feeling she has little voice in the matter. Thank you for praying about her. I have known her about 34 years.

We are truly saddened to hear about your friend's health struggles and the emotional toll it's taking on her. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement. God is our great healer, and turning to Him in times of need is our greatest source of comfort and strength.

Let's pray together:

Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister in her time of need. Lord, You know her struggles and her pain. We ask that You guide her doctors to access the best medicine for her conditions and she has favor when she expresses her needs to her doctors so she has a voice in her healing options. Please be with the medical professionals to find a remedy for her open wound and lead her to recovery.

Father, we also pray for her emotional well-being. We know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. Grant her peace. Cast out fear and replace it with hope. May she who waits on Your goodness be renewed in strength and empowered to press on.

Lord Jesus, in all things, let her find hope in you - Who gave your life to pay for our sins for all who believe. May she find the blessed hope in you and express that hope to others.

We encourage your friend to remain steadfast in her faith, trusting in God's goodness and sovereignty. We read in Isaiah 40:31 WEB:

"But those who wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint."

If your friend has not put faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ, then we pray she does this so her faith is sure. We read in Romans 10:9 WEB:

"because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

We're here for your friend, praying alongside you. It's tough when health issues feel overwhelming, but remember, God is near. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust Him to do that for her.

We're asking God to guide her doctors, to give them wisdom and understanding. We're believing for a breakthrough in her healing, for the wound to close and her strength to return. We're also praying for her spirit, that she would feel God's comfort and peace in this trial.

Let's encourage her to keep seeking God, to pour out her heart to Him. In Lamentations 3:41, it says, "Let us lift up our hearts with our hands to God in the heavens." She can do this, knowing God is with her every step of the way.

Keep us updated, and let's continue to lift her up together. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
