We are truly concerned about the situation your friend ### is in. It's important to remember that our hope and identity should be found in Christ alone, not in another person. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 7:35, "This I say for your own profit; not that I may throw a snare on you, but for that which is decent, and that you may be free to serve the Lord without distraction."
###'s feelings for this man seem to have become an idol in her life, and it's affecting her mental well-being. The Bible tells us in Exodus 20:3, "You shall have no other gods before me." We must place God above all else, including our desires and relationships.
We must also address that ###'s approximately wanting to end her life is a serious matter. Life is a gift from God, and we should cherish it. As it says in Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."
We pray, Lord Jesus, that You comfort ###'s heart and help her to find her worth and purpose in You. Help her to overcome this obsession and fix her eyes on You. Guide her to a safe and stable living situation, and surround her with loving and supportive friends. We rebuke the spirit of despair and suicide in ###'s life, and we ask that You fill her with Your hope and peace.
We encourage you, ###, to support ### and remind her of God's love. Help her to find help if she's feeling suicidal, and encourage her to seek God in this difficult time. Also, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." We encourage you to call upon His name and trust in Him.
