Let us join together in prayer for our sister in Christ, N, who is experiencing severe pain in her head and across her teeth. Despite the doctors' efforts, they have not been able to find the cause of her suffering. This pain is progressively worsening, and it is taking a toll on her ability to sleep and function normally. As a leader in our church and a beloved mother and grandmother, this trial comes at a particularly challenging time. However we pray knowing that our God is no respecter of persons, times, or seasons. He will hear our plea at any time.
In moments like these, we remember God's promises are clear in the Bible:
If we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15
However we also know that In all things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. There must be a purpose for this test. For we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28.
Therefore we pray thusly:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister N. You know her pain and suffering, and You see her faithfulness despite this trial. We ask, Lord that You heal her. Remove the shooting pain in her head and jaw. Reveal any hidden underpinning cause of this suffering. Lord as she has walked with you and exhibited a gift for leadership, we know she is needed in the kingdom. We know that the prayers of a righteous woman are powerful and effective. Therefore you do not want N to be ineffective or hindered from her duties. Let the stripes that Jesus took for this kinswoman of ours is not in vain. Lord we come to you claming her healing as if our own.
Lord while N is under this faith test let her not fail. As it is said the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Bolster her faithfulness, strengthen her resolve and will to continue. As it is written in I Corinthians 10:13 No temptation or test has overtaken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. We all have a test of our faith to go through. Therefore Lord let this suffering be multiplied in blessing for the church.
Father, give grace to her family members, may they be your hands and feet during this time of her pain and constant throbbing. Father make them a blessing. Let their actions and her recovery become a testimony of the goodness of our redeemer who is Jesus Christ the righteous. Father resurrect every time the enemy has knocked her down with his scheme, thorns, and pains. Make her come back even stronger and may the enemy never think he can come against your righteous in the end time and succeed. Father not N nor anyone in the global church of Christ either prayed for this test or want it. You know heavenly father that this test is not welcomed, but our faithfulness and fate are in your hands.
Hallelujah for we know that in every pain there is purpose. Let there be praise when this; period of her faithfulness takes a sudden turn. We cannot wait to see what you have planned. We desire to see the testimony that can only be produced by your Spirit and our faith, Lord. We seek signs and wonders until the end. Work mightily in this situation, Father, for Your will and Your glory. Strengthen N's faith and let her know that You are always with her, even in the midst of this storm. Help her to rest in Your presence and find peace in Your promises. There is no illness or pain greater than the healing that Jesus Christ has already provided for us. Let us all play our part in seeing His healing in N's life. In Jesus' name we pray together believing. Amen.
We ask that sister N and all that are called by his name trust the Lord without any doubt and continue to declare his promises. Let us all seek Him first and His righteous according to Matthew 6:33.
