We are truly sorry to hear about the situation your friend and their family are facing. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign and He cares for all people, especially those in vulnerable situations. As scripture says in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB):
Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
It is important to address that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Let us pray together for your friend and their family, asking God for His mercy and intervention.
Dear Lord, we come before You today, lifting up our friend and their family who are facing deportation. We ask for Your divine intervention in their situation, that You would grant them favor and a way to stay in the country legally. We pray for a green card. We pray that You would guide them to the right people and resources that can help with their case.
We also pray for peace and strength for the family during this challenging time. Help them to trust in You and Your plan for their lives. We ask for Your protection over them and Your comforting presence to be with them.
Lord, we acknowledge that You are the ultimate authority and that You can make a way where there seems to be no way. We ask for Your will to be done and for Your grace to be extended to this family.
Finally, we pray for all those in authority, that they would make decisions with wisdom and compassion, remembering the words of Deuteronomy 10:18-19 (WEB):
He executes justice for the fatherless and widow, and loves the foreigner in giving him food and clothing. Therefore love the foreigner; for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt.
We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who is our only mediator to God the Father. Amen.
Remember, God hears our prayers and He cares for us. Trust in Him and His plan, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Your friend and their family are not alone in this; they have the God of the universe on their side.
