My fiance is a ### and is trying to quit. She is getting extremely physical with me demanding a drink to the point of she's throwing things. I need help that God would banish her demons to the foot of the cross and cleanse her with Jesus blood. I also need protection.

Firstly, we commend you for your recognition of the spiritual warfare at play and for seeking God's intervention. Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12 WEB).

First, we must clarify the importance of praying in Jesus Christ's name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12) You acknowledged this in your request by seeking help from God through Jesus Christ..

Regarding your fiancé's alcoholism, it is crucial to understand that deliverance can come through the power of the Holy Spirit, but it also requires personal responsibility and actions like medical help, counseling, and accountability.

While we believe in the power of prayer and the necessity of spiritual warfare, we also believe in the importance of setting boundaries and seeking support from local resources, especially when there is physical violence involved.

Alcoholism is a form of bondage, and getting free requires the recognition of being a slave of either sin leading to death or obedience leading to righteousness. (Romans 6:16)

It is also clear that your fiancé is being abusive towards you, which is against God's will for relationships and must not be tolerated. The Bible teaches that husbands should love their wives just as Christ also loved the church and gave himself up for her. (Ephesians 5:25) This should already be seen in courtship. Relationships leading to marriage should be built on mutual respect, love, and kindness, not violence or coercion.

Because of the physical abuse, we strongly advise you to take immediate actions to ensure your safety. This could mean staying with family or friends, or even involving local authorities.

As you pray for your fiancé's deliverance, also pray for wisdom and discernment regarding your relationship. It is not God's will for you to be in a relationship that is harmful or where you are unequally yoked with an unbeliever, as this can lead you away from your walk with Christ. (2 Corinthians 6:14)

Let's pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and their fiancé. Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over their lives and this situation. We bind the spirit of alcoholism and command it to be cast to the foot of the cross. We pray for your divine intervention, that you would deliver ###'s fiancé from this bondage and bring healing and restoration. We also pray for your protection over ###, that you would give them wisdom and discernment in navigating this relationship. Help them to set boundaries and seek support as needed. We ask all these things to advance your kingdom and will.

Let us remember to always pray with thanksgiving,
