Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and anticipation for the upcoming union of Swaselis and the beloved fiancé. Lord, as they prepare to enter into the sacred covenant of marriage, we ask for Your divine peace and guidance to be upon them.
Father, Your Word says in Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." We pray that Swaselis and the fiancé will always keep You at the center of their relationship, making their bond strong and unbreakable.
Lord, we know that the enemy often tries to sow discord and strife, especially during times of great joy and celebration. We stand against any spirit of division or drama that may be trying to disrupt their peace. In the name of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Grant Swaselis the focus and clarity to see past the temporary stresses and family issues, and to keep the eyes fixed on the joy that is set before them – the joy of becoming one in Your sight. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." May this peace guard Swaselis' heart and mind throughout the remaining days of preparation.
Lord, bless their union abundantly. May their marriage be a testament to Your love and grace. Fill their home with joy, laughter, and unwavering faith. Guide them in all their ways and let their love for each other grow deeper every day.
We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
