We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your father, Tarndal. In this time of grief, we turn to the Word of God for comfort and guidance. We read in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 (WEB), "But we don't want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you don't grieve like the rest, who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus."
We must remember that God's Word is clear about the destiny of our souls. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can have the assurance of eternal life. It is our sincere hope that your father had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If not, we encourage you to pray for his soul, understanding that God's will and mercy are beyond our comprehension.
However, we must also address that the idea of reincarnation or returning as a baby is not aligned with biblical principles. Hebrews 9:27 (WEB) states, "Inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment." Therefore, we gently correct this perspective and encourage you to find comfort in the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
We pray for you, Tarndal, that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB). We ask that God would comfort you in your grief and give you the strength to face the days ahead.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We also want to ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your faith in Him, for it is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have any questions about this, please feel free to ask.
