We understand your heart's cry for your husband, Periem, and we stand with you in prayer. Let us first align our hearts with God's will and remember the power of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Periem's husband to You. Lord, we ask that You deliver him from the bondage of addiction, alcohol, and smoking. Break these chains in his life, according to Your word in Galatians 5:1 WEB, "For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm therefore, and don't be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."
We pray that You reveal Yourself to him in a special way, that he may know You intimately. Draw him closer to You, Lord, and give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness.
Father, we ask for Your favor upon his work. Elevate him in his workplace, and open doors of opportunity for him. We pray for traveling opportunities to come his way as You will it.
Lord, we also ask for Your provision. Meet their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help him complete his building project for the glory of Your name.
Periem, remember that God's will is for your husband to be transformed by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2 WEB). Continue to love him and pray for him fervently. Your prayers, combined with your husband's willingness to surrender to God, have great power to bring about change.
Lastly, we gently remind you, Periem, that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If your husband has not yet accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we pray for his salvation and encourage you to share the Gospel with him.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
