Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this family in prayer. We ask for Your divine intervention in the life of this son, his wife, and their child. Your Word in Isaiah 41:10 says, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." We pray that Your comfort and peace surround this family as they navigate through their struggles and pain.
Lord, we ask that You ease the son's anger and hurt. Grant him the serenity that comes from Your presence, as stated in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." May he find solace in Your teachings of gentleness, love, and hope. Help him turn the other cheek and embrace the path of forgiveness and grace.
Father, we also lift up the physical and emotional pain that this couple is enduring. We ask for Your healing touch, as You are the Great Physician. Let Your healing power flow through them, bringing restoration and wholeness. As it is written in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord."
We pray for the extended family, that they may set aside their fears and whatever is causing them to distance themselves. Fill their hearts with love and compassion, so they may offer support and encouragement. As it says in Galatians 6:2, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."
Lord, we ask that You provide this son with employment. Open doors of opportunity and guide him to a job where he can use his skills and talents for Your glory. We trust in Your provision, as stated in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Finally, help this son accept the help that is offered to him. Remind him that in his weakness, Your strength is made perfect. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
We place this family in Your loving hands, trusting in Your faithfulness and mercy. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
