We are truly sorry to hear about the situation your family is facing in California. As the fires rage, we stand with you in prayer, trusting in God's protection and provision.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise to be with us in times of trouble. As it says in Psalm 46:1-3 WEB, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we wonβt be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling."
In times like these, it's crucial to turn to God and pray for His intervention. We also want to encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It's in His name that we have access to God, and it's in His name that we are saved. As Acts 4:12 WEB says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Violet's family in California. Lord, You are the God of all comfort and protection. We ask that You shield their home and their lives from the fires. Provide for their needs, especially during this power outage. Give them peace in this trial, and let them feel Your loving presence.
We also pray for the firefighters and all those working to control the fires. Guide them and keep them safe, Lord.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, God is in control, and He cares for you and your family. Stay strong in faith and keep praying. If there's anything specific you'd like us to pray for, please let us know. We're here to support you. Also, we do not endorse praying to Mary, an angel, or non-living saints, since this is not biblical. The Bible teaches that we are to pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus.
