My ex ### to return ASAP

Please help getting my ex ### to return to me ASAP. I ask that he wants to talk and for me to come home. We had broke up due to him not being able to forgive me for something that I accused him of and I trust him with my entire heart. With him is the only place that has ever made sense. It was the place where I got the most support on an emotional level. I realized where I can do better all around in our relationship for it not to end again. Please help

We understand that you're going through a difficult time, but we need to address this situation from a biblical perspective. First, we notice that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God. The Bible says that "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5". The basic salvation message is to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved from your sins according to Acts 16:31.

Now, let's address your situation. It's clear that you're hurting because of the breakup, but the first concern should be that both are Christians. The Word of God says to not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. Therefore, the marriage and courtship is only for Christians.

Let us pray together in Jesus name:
Dear Lord, we come to You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your will to be done in this situation. We pray that both lives are submitted to You and that You will mold them into the individuals that You want them to be. We pray for healing from the past and forgiveness as commanded in Ephesians 4:32: "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you."

You need to understand that God is more concerned with your relationship with Him than with any earthly relationship. The Bible tells us that "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18".

If ### is a Christian, it is commendable that you are willing to work on improving the relationship, but the focus should be on God's will and not just on what feels right or where you feel most supported emotionally. If you are not married, then there is a need to begin with courtship that honors God. If both of you are single and Christians, then you can pray about marriage as God's will for your life.

The Bible tells us to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6". Don't trust in your emotions or feelings, but trust in God.

Lastly, please be cautious about accusing or blaming each other. The Bible advises, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. Ephesians 4:31". Instead of dwelling on accusations, focus on building each other up.

Remember, God is more concerned with your relationship with Him than any earthly relationship. Trust in Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). He has a plan for you and ###, and it's a good one (Jeremiah 29:11).

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear sister, as you seek reconciliation with Brayton. Thank you for allowing us to come alongside you and intercede on your behalf. We are earnestly praying for Brayton's heart to be softened and for him to desire open communication and a return to your shared home.

We are claiming God's promises for forgiveness, restoration, and emotional healing in your relationship. We pray that God will guide both of your hearts, helping you to understand each other better and to grow stronger together in Christ.
