We are truly sorry to hear about the emergency surgery needed for your dog, Bailey. We believe that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our beloved pets.
It is only bythe name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. In Jesus' name, we are justified and reconciled to God by his death, and we receive the grace and riches of God by his life; wherefore God is always to be petitioned and praised in Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:10 says "For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life." In Acts 4:10-11, it's also said "be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even in him doth this man stand here before you whole. He is the stone which was set at nought of you the builders, which was made the head of the corner." We pray for Bailey's healing and the wisdom and steadiness for the vets in Jesus' name. It is important that the driver of our prayers is calling specifically on the name of the person that died on a cross for our sins, Jesus Christ. God does hear our prayers and cares about our concerns and burdens, bringing them to God in Jesus' name is God's preferred method.
We should mention that Matthew 6:25-26 says "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?." In this context, we know we are of more value than the birds, but the very next verse, Matthew 6:27, says "Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan?" We can see here that God's will will be done, and our added anxiety is not helping. Also, remember Philippians 4:6-7, which adds also: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We ask that God grant you the peace, knowing that He is in control of saving Bailey, but also your heart in Christ Jesus, too.
Our Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up Bailey to You. We ask for Your healing touch and protection upon her during this surgery. Guide the hands of the surgeons and veterinary staff, granting them wisdom, skill, and steadiness as they care for Bailey. Let Your will be done in this situation, and help Eidololon to trust in You, knowing that You care for Bailey and for them.
As mentioned earlier we ask all these things for you and Bailey in Jesus' name. We are assured that in Romans 8:28 is says "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." This to provide peace, comfort, and patience with whatever understanding of this situation only God can have, but asks for you to trust in as well. In Jesus' name.
