We understand your concern for your loved one and we stand with you in prayer. In times of trouble, we can confidently approach God's throne of grace.
Firstly, we commend you for ending your prayer request with "In Jesus name." It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In times of sickness, we can trust in God's healing power. Jesus himself healed many people during his ministry on earth. Let's pray according to James 5:14-15 WEB:
"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our beloved brother in his time of need. We ask that You touch his body, heal him from any infirmity, and grant him strength and appetite. Lord, if there are any underlying issues, please reveal them and open the right doors for medical help and specialist attention. Guide those attending to him with wisdom and understanding.
We also pray for his faith to be strengthened, and for Your peace to fill his heart. Help him to trust in You, even in this challenging time. We pray against any spirit of fear or despair and declare Your goodness and love over his life.
We ask this in the powerful name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of Psalm 41:3 WEB: "Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness." Trust in the Lord, for He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers. Continue to seek the Lord together, and may this trial draw you closer to Him and to each other.
