My ### died a week ago. I went in his office and it seemed like he was snoring; I thought he was messing with me. I should have pulled him out of his chair and done chest compressions. I had no idea what was going on, but after the fact, I found out it was agonal breathing, so now I will live with the guilt for the rest of my life because he could have lived. I'm so depressed every day.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today on behalf of ###, who is grieving the loss of her boyfriend. Lord, we lift up ### to You and ask for Your comfort and peace to surround her during this difficult time. We pray that You would wrap Your loving arms around her and bring healing to her broken heart.

Father, we acknowledge the burden of guilt that ### is carrying. We ask that You would grant her forgiveness and release her from the weight of this guilt. Help her to understand that she did not have the knowledge or understanding in that moment, and that she cannot change what has already happened. Remind her that You are a God of grace and mercy, and that You offer forgiveness to all who come to You in repentance.

Lord, we pray for ###'s depression. We ask that You would lift the heavy cloud of sadness that hangs over her and replace it with Your joy and peace. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We claim this promise for ### and ask that You would draw near to her and bring healing to her mind and emotions.

Father, we also pray for ###'s future. Help her to find hope and purpose in You, even in the midst of her pain. Guide her steps and lead her on a path of healing and restoration. Surround her with a community of support and love, and give her the strength to lean on You and others during this time.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God's peace and comfort be with you, ###.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
