Please forgive me for posting this selfish prayer, I haven't been thinking about God enough lately and my prayers are pretty average, I have been hanging out with non christians too as we are all going through a redundancy together and it is getting closer to our finishing date. I am doing stuff like exercising with them after work - nothing majorly sinful, but I am not feeling the Holy Spirit or seeking Him much and I don't want to walk away from God. I would really appreciate help with prayers about this as I don't want to put other things before God and I am not sure why I am.
 
Our God of peace, you have taught us that in returning and rest we shall be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be our strength: By the might of your Spirit answer this request, we pray of you, so we may be still and know that you are God; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Father in Heaven, I thank You that you never leave or forsake us. Lord, help us to be with You in always no matter what we are doing, to have You as the focus of our hearts in Jesus name. I thank You that You do not condemn us but that You are full of compassion and grace. Lord, i thank You that You convict us, and I thank You that You never accuse us. Lord, we ask that You would change us by Your Spirit in Jesus name, amen
