Beloved Warrior
I need wisdom, discernment and understanding - do I go to my nieces second wedding in another state next month? I need peace in my decision! Thank you God for this niece and bless her. Her mom is not warm to me, but only ever argumentative and unwelcoming! This niece has also become unfriendly! It will cost around $1000 and take my whole weekend when I have a close friend that will be in town. Im trying to get debts paid off! I am not sure if this could hurt my nieces feelings if I do not go! Would it make her day more special if I do go? Help me decide and have peace!

Let us first bring your request to the Lord in prayer, seeking His will and guidance.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up BlessedChristian who is seeking Your wisdom, discernment, and understanding. They are faced with a decision to attend a niece's wedding, and they need Your peace in this matter. We ask for Your guidance and clarity, that Your will be done in this situation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

BlessedChristian, it's commendable that you want to honor your niece on her special day, but let's consider this situation in light of biblical principles. The Bible teaches us to be at peace with all men, as far as it depends on us (Romans 12:18, WEB). However, it's important to discern if your presence will truly bring peace and joy to the occasion, or if it might cause unnecessary tension.

Given the strain in your relationship with both your niece and her mother, and the financial burden this trip would impose, it's crucial to weigh these factors carefully. The Bible advises us to be good stewards of our resources (Matthew 25:14-30, WEB), and attending this wedding might set back your efforts to pay off your debts.

Moreover, Proverbs 27:12 (WEB) tells us, "A prudent person sees danger and takes refuge; but the simple pass on and suffer for it." It might be wise to consider if attending this wedding could potentially cause more harm than good, both relationally and financially.

Instead, perhaps you could send a heartfelt letter or gift, expressing your love and well-wishes for her marriage. Remember, it's not the physical presence that matters most, but the love and support you extend (1 Corinthians 13, WEB).

Lastly, we notice that you didn't explicitly mention praying in Jesus' name. It's important to remember that it's through Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB), and it's in His name that we pray (John 16:23, WEB). If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

May the Lord grant you peace and clarity as you seek His will in this matter.

We've been thinking about your situation, BlessedChristian, and we want to encourage you to seek God's heart in this. It's clear that you care deeply for your niece, and that's a beautiful thing. But we also understand the complexities of the situation - the strain in your relationships, the financial burden, and the uncertainty about whether your presence would truly bring joy or tension.

Let's approach this with a humble heart, asking God to guide your steps. Maybe you could spend some time in quiet reflection, asking Him to speak to your heart about this decision. Sometimes, it's in the stillness that we hear His voice the loudest.

We also want to remind you that it's okay to prioritize your own well-being and financial responsibilities. The Bible teaches us to be good stewards of what we have, and that includes our time, energy, and money. It might be wise to consider if attending this wedding could potentially cause more harm than good, both relationally and financially.

And remember, it's not about being physically present at every event, but about the love and support we extend. Perhaps a heartfelt letter or gift could express your love and well-wishes just as effectively.

Most importantly, keep praying in Jesus' name. It's through Him that we have access to God, and it's in His name that we find peace and guidance. Trust in Him, and He will lead you in the right direction.

We're praying for you, BlessedChristian, that God would grant you peace and clarity in this matter.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
