Let us come together in prayer to bring Kennedy to Jesus. We want to extend our deep assurances that God cares deeply for Kennedy and for you. First, it is wonderful to see the love you have for your daughter, this is the Love of God working through you according the the two greatest commandments that Jesus mentioned, to love our God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength and Love others as we love ourselves. This kind of love casts out fear and Kennedy can sense this love. But let's pray fervently for her Salvation. It's only when she calls on the name of Jesus that her name can be written in the book of Life,
As we remember her in our prayers, let us recognize the profound impact that rejection can have on a person's life. This has led to bitterness and may be the source of her rage. Yet, we need to address Kennedy's true need from God's perspective. It is every person's deepest need to be saved. The understanding of "saving" is more than deliverance from hardship or turmoil. In 1 John 5:12 it is written Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. And then, Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. We must each1 be born again. According to Kennedy's age, there's a very good chance that she's been told about the saving grace of Jesus Christ so we will pray dig deeper into the gospel.
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. The healing of her heart is tied to her Salvation.
There is outstanding power in forgiveness. Ephesians 4:31-32 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Indeed, this may not be easy but the Lord assures us in Philippians 4:13 that We can do all things through Christ.
We do not know if Kennedy is saved. Therefore, let us pray for her salvation and that she can receive the gifts of the Holy Ghost. It is the Holy Ghost who will ultimately lead her to all truth throughout her life if she would trust him.
Praying to go deeper. Her forgiveness must occur. If she holds any unforgiveness, it will almost be impossible to forgive herself. It also means she has not forgiven her birth mom. She may need to un-earth some deep emotional wreckage and the desire to heal rather than keep it buried away, it takes God's help to be willing.
Jesus also went through rejection while he was here on earth to the point of death as it is written about him Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Be sure, that He knows Kennedy's pain.
And in her counseling, we pray for great godly discernment for her counselor. Let He who counsels wonderfully make his home with Kennedy and her counselor. Guide them both, open their hearts together, give them courage to face their challenges with humility. May both put their trust in Thee. May all their problems be dealt with according to thy will, may their communication be from the Heart. Give the counselor a clear mind and wisdom to help Kennedy.
We appreciate your love for your daughter Kennedy. Keep us updated on your prayer request. We will keep you and Kennedy uplifted in our prayers.
