My daughter

I would really like prayer for my daughter eve. Myself and eves father split up before she was born. He's been in prison on a number of times and has got ten children to several women. I am really worried as he isn't a catholic and constantly worry about the affect that he is having on her. I would really like eve to become a catholic and the time that she has with her dad will lessen. I would really like god to bring a good man into my life who I will marry and who will be a good role model for her.

We understand your concerns and we will join you in prayer for Eve and your situation. Firstly, let's remember what the WEB says about God's care for children:

"But Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and don’t hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.'" (Matthew 19:14)

God has a special place in His heart for children, and He cares deeply about Eve. As for your concern about Eve's father, remember that God can turn any situation around for good:

"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)

Instead of worrying, let's pray that God will use this situation to bring good into Eve's life. It's important to note that being a Catholic or any other denomination is not what brings salvation, but a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God:

"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" (John 14:6)

Let's pray for Eve to have a personal encounter with Jesus Christ and grow in her relationship with Him. As for your desire for a godly spouse, we pray that God will bring the right man into your life, a man who fears God and will be a good role model for Eve. Let's remember:

"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14)

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Eve and her mother to You. Lord, we ask that You surround Eve with Your love and protection. We pray that You will use every situation in her life to draw her closer to You. We ask that You reveal Yourself to her and that she will come to know You personally. Lord, we also pray for her mother, that You will bring a godly man into her life who will love and cherish her, and be a good role model for Eve. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue to pray and trust in the Lord, knowing that He has a good plan for you and Eve.
