Marte, we are deeply saddened to hear about the strain in your relationship with your daughter and the painful words she has expressed. We are here to pray with you and offer counsel based on the Word of God.
Firstly, we commend you for reaching out in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
In times like these, it's crucial to respond with love and patience, even when it's challenging. As it is written in Ephesians 4:2, "with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love." Also, consider the words of Romans 12:17-19, "Don’t repay anyone evil for evil. Consider what is good from the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Marte and her daughter. Lord, we ask for Your healing power to restore their relationship. Please soften her daughter's heart and help her to see the love that Marte has for her. If there is any manipulation from the father, we pray that You would expose it and bring it to an end.
Father, give Marte the strength to endure this trial with patience and love. Help her to respond with kindness and wisdom, reflecting Your heart towards her daughter. We claim the promise in Isaiah 49:25, where You say, "I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will save your children."
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for your daughter and to trust that God is faithful. Stand firm in His love and truth, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). If the father is indeed manipulating your daughter, trust that God will reveal it and act accordingly.
