We are truly sorry to hear about your daughter's diagnosis and the challenges she's facing. Let us come together in prayer and lift her and your family up to the Lord.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that we are to love the Lord above all else, as it is written in Matthew 22:37-38 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment."
However, we also want to remind you of the importance of casting all your cares upon Him, as He cares for you and your daughters. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB), "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Let us pray:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our sister and her daughter. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon her daughter. We pray that the breast cancer will be completely healed in Jesus' name. We also ask that You provide for her financially, that You open doors for her to receive the insurance she needs, and that You guide her in all her ways.*
*Lord, we also pray for their relationship. We ask that You mend any brokenness between them and strengthen their bond. Help them to communicate openly and honestly, and to support each other in love.*
*In the meantime, Lord, we ask that You fill our sister with Your peace, comfort, and strength. Help her to trust in You and to rest in Your love. Remind her that You are sovereign and that You have a plan and a purpose in all things.*
*Finally, Lord, we pray that if our sister or her daughter do not yet know You as their personal Lord and Savior, that they would come to know You. That they would confess with their mouths and believe in their hearts that Jesus is Lord, and be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB).*
*We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.*
In the meantime, we encourage you to continue to reach out to your daughter, to love her, and to support her in any way you can. But also, to trust that God is in control and that He loves her even more than you do.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that while it's wonderful to pray for blessings on others, it's important to pray in Jesus' name, as it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
