We are saddened to hear about the struggles of your daughter, but we are encouraged by your faith and love for her. We will stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus Christ to bring deliverance and healing.
Firstly, we commend you for bringing this request in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can receive salvation.
Let us address the issue at hand. Homosexuality is indeed a sin according to the Bible. As it is written in Leviticus 18:22, "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination." and 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you, but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God."
However, we must also remember that we are all sinners saved by grace, and it is God's will that not one should perish. We should extend the love of Christ to all, but cannot endorse or encourage sin.
Now, let us pray together for your daughter and your family.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up the daughter of our sister in Christ, Christiana. Lord, we know that You love her dearly and desire the best for her. We pray that You would deliver her from the spirit of homosexuality and bring healing to her confusion, anxiety, and depression.
We rebuke any spirit that does not align with Your will for her life. We declare that she is a new creation in Christ Jesus, created in Your image, and called to live a life holy and pleasing to You as stated in Ephesians 4:22-24, "That you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth."
Lord, we ask that You would surround her with godly influences and remove any negative influences from her life. Bring her back to the straight and narrow path as written in Matthew 7:13-14, "Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate, and restricted is the way that leads to life! Few are those who find it."
We pray for the convicting power of the Holy Spirit to work in her life, drawing her closer to You. Give her a heart of flesh that is tender to Your Word.
Lord, we also pray for Christiana. Give her the wisdom, strength, and grace to support her daughter in this time. Help her to speak the truth in love and to be a beacon of Your light in her daughter's life.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name, trusting in Your promise in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Amen.
Christiana, continue to stand firm in your faith and trust in the Lord. Be encouraged by the words of Galatians 6:9, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up."
We are here with you in spirit, praying and believing for your daughter's deliverance and healing.
