My Daughter lost her beloved dog today.

Please pray for my daughter and her spouse.They suddenly lost their precious furbaby who they only had for 2 short months. They did Everything with him, they took him everywhere, he was their baby, as they don't have children. Please pray that they can get thru this sad time. They are having a very hard time blaming herself because he was alone and fell off their porch steps. My daughter found him dead when she opened the door to bring him inside. Thank you

We are truly saddened to hear about the loss of your daughter's beloved dog. Let us come together in prayer and support during this difficult time.

Firstly, we want to remind your daughter and her spouse of the comfort that God can provide even in the midst of grief. In Psalm 147:3, it is written, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." God is close to those who are brokenhearted, and He desires to comfort them in their time of need.

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our sister and her spouse as they mourn the loss of their precious dog. Lord, we know that You care about every detail of our lives, and that You are close to those who are brokenhearted. Please comfort them in their grief, and help them to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

Lord, we also ask that You would help them to not blame themselves for this tragic accident. Remind them that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). Help them to trust in Your sovereignty, even in the midst of this sad time.

Finally, Lord, we pray that this trial would ultimately draw them closer to You. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). In His precious name, we pray. Amen."

We also want to encourage your daughter and her spouse to support each other during this time. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds us that "two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up." They can be a source of strength and comfort for each other as they navigate this loss together.

Lastly, we want to remind them that it is in Jesus' name that we come to the Father. If they haven't already, we encourage them to put their trust in Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6).

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."
