My daughter just turned 20 last week. She is a perfectionist who drives herself very hard, especially when it comes to academics. She is entering her junior year at the University of Pittsburgh, and has kept a 4.0 GPA, even though we encourage her to relax and have some fun, and not study so long and hard. Because of the stress she puts on herself, her outlet has been exercise and very controlled eating. She was in great shape when she went to school but came home in May weighing 94 pounds on a 5'6" frame, We we horrified and turned to doctors, counselors and a nutritionist to help her get healthy. She is doing better but returns to school this week and I am nervous about how she will keep this healthier lifestyle when she is faced with stress again. I ask for prayers that God give her the strength to remember what is truly important in life, and to resist the urge to exercise and to keep herself healthy.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
