We join with you, Uabon, in lifting up your daughter before the throne of grace. Let us pray and seek God's will together for her life and career.
"Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, asking for your divine favor upon Uabon's daughter. She has been faithful in her work, serving tables for 12 years, and now she seeks a new opportunity. We ask that you open the doors that need to be opened and close those that need to be closed. Give her the confidence and self-esteem that comes from knowing her worth in your sight (Psalm 139:14). Guide her through this interview process and, if it is your will, grant her this new job. We trust in your plan for her life, knowing that you have good works prepared in advance for her to do (Ephesians 2:10). Be with her, Lord, and fill her with your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you and your daughter to trust in the Lord's timing and plan. Remember, God has gifted each of us with unique talents and abilities to serve him and others. As it is written in Romans 12:6-8 (WEB), "We have different gifts, according to the grace given to us. If the gift is prophecy, let it be used in proportion to faith. If it is service, let it be used in service. He who teaches, let him teach. He who exhorts, let him exhort. He who gives, let him do it with generosity. He who rules, let him do it with diligence. He who shows mercy, let him do it with cheerfulness."
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that our prayers are made possible. As the scripture says, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB). If you or your daughter have not yet called upon the name of the Lord for salvation, we encourage you to do so today. Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
