My daughter is a bully. She insists I'm racist, intolerant, and a bigot. I didn't want to watch Umbrella Academy because I don't want to watch ###. I don't care to play along pretending she is a man. She's ### weeks pregnant with twins and constantly tells me she's going to move away from me when the kids get older. I told her she needs to stop accusing me and calling me things that I am not. I tell her she's not being fair. She shouldn't treat me this way just because I have a different opinion. She then says it's not just an opinion, and continues to say I'm racist and intolerant. So then she tries to bully me to my room telling me to get out of her space, and that she's not watching TV with me anymore. We split the rent in this 2 br apartment neither of us can afford. I moved in with her to help support her. She said she's watching what she wants because it's her TV. I don't know what to do. I feel abused by my own daughter. I'm so broken right now sitting on the couch crying silently.

Heavenly Father, we come to You in prayer on behalf of ###. We ask that You would give her wisdom and discernment in how to handle her daughter's bullying behavior. Help her to remain calm and patient in the face of her daughter's accusations and help her to be a loving and understanding parent. We pray that You would give her daughter a heart of understanding and compassion, and that she would be able to see the truth of her mother's character. I pray God will give you the strength to keep standing up for the truth. You don't have to watch that if you don't want to and there is nothing racist, which that would not be racist in any means, she needs to learn the definition of racism. You're also not intolerant.

I also pray God will help you against her bullying including threatening to take her children away so you don't see them. I know you love your daughter. I pray however, God gives you the strength to let her stand on her own feet and stop using you and abusing you because that is what she is doing by verbally assaulting you and threatening to not let you see your grandkids. I've seen this behavior in my own family with threats of not letting grandparents see their grandkids for various reasons, money, babysitting, etc.

I pray God will deal with your daughter and if necessary, let you find affordable shelter for yourself and let her deal with the consequences. I know small children are involved but sometimes you have to go to extremes to stop a bully from continuing to abuse you.

May the Lord protect you, strengthen you, and keep you emotionally and mentally safe from her abuse. In Jesus' name.

Parenting is one of the hardest jobs, if not the hardest job, that God has given us. The Bible tells us that children are a blessing and gift to parents, yet there are times we are left confused and worried that we aren't doing it right. Philippians 4:6-7 "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." When you feel abused by your daughter, bring that very worry, the pain, and the concern to your Father. He knows what it is like to be a parent. Express your concerns to Him and then leave them at His altar. He will replace your worries with peace! Amen
