My daughter in ICU needs prayer

Please pray for my daughter! She contracted an infectious bacteria during a routine surgery and it caused many problems. My daughter is in now in ICU. She will be here at least 20 days. She had an 3 surgeries on her brain and one hernia from her CSF fluid not absorbing properly from this mishap. She had a shunt to regulate the fluid taken out yesterday that was fused and embedded in her cranium as a newborn. The shunt became infected and they had to take it out. It’s very painful. We pray it heals safely. Surgeon performed a second operation to where she might not need a metal and plastic shunt and catheter tubing called ETV. This advanced surgical technique, called endoscopic third ventriculostomy (ETV), does not use a shunt or any implanted hardware, and if it takes means she will not need to return to the hospital as many times throughout her life. In this procedure, surgeons use a tiny camera called an endoscope to enter the ventricles of her brain. They then make a small opening in one of the ventricles, which relieves the pressure buildup by allowing fluid to flow again. The procedure is called an ETV, or "endoscopic third ventriculostomy." She had this done two days ago but we are praying to see if it works. If it does work it will be a miracle and testimony of God’s healing power and grace and will give her freedom she’s never had but she is in pain and praying that this procedure works so she will not have to put a new shunt in. She’s hurting so much. Please pray that this works for her! Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister's daughter, who is currently in the ICU. Lord, You know her pain and suffering, and we trust that Your healing power is at work in her life. We ask that You guide the hands of the medical professionals caring for her, and that the procedure she underwent will be successful in relieving her condition.

Lord Jesus, we know that you suffered on the cross for our healing, and we claim that promise for her life. We pray that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard her heart and mind (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Comfort her in her pain, and let Your healing power flow through her body.

We also pray for strength and faith for her family during this challenging time. Help them to remain steadfast in their trust in You, knowing that all things work together for good to those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB).

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray for a miracle. Let her healing be a testimony of Your grace and power. Amen.

We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful and His love for your daughter is unfailing. Remember the words of Jesus in John 16:33 (WEB), "I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In the world, you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."

Stand firm in your faith, and let the peace of God rule in your hearts. We are with you in spirit, lifting your daughter up in prayer, and believing for her complete healing and recovery. Keep your requests known to God, and He will sustain you through this trial.

Thank you for praying! We are still in intensive care, but we have seen miracles happen and so thankful to God and the prayers of his people for my daughters brain surgery. I’m sitting by her beside and thinking God for his watch over her! The neurosurgeon was perplexed to the positive progression and was told him it was because of all the prayer! Thank you so much for praying for my daughter. May sue be completely healed! God bless!
