Machlyth, we understand your concern for your daughter and her relationships. We will pray for God's will to be done in her life and for her to find a godly spouse if this current relationship is not His will.
Firstly, let's pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Machlyth's daughter. Lord, we ask that You bless her relationship if it is according to Your will. If not, we pray that You guide her to a godly spouse, a man who fears You and walks in Your ways. Give her discernment and wisdom to understand the intentions of her current companion, and grant her the courage to walk away if he is not the one You have chosen for her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to remind your daughter of the importance of seeking God's will in her relationships. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We also want to emphasize the significance of seeking a godly spouse, as God designed marriage to be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman who both fear and serve Him. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB), we are reminded, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"
Lastly, we want to ensure that you and your daughter are seeking God's will through Jesus Christ, as it is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If your daughter has not yet accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we encourage you to share the good news of salvation with her.
