We understand that this is a challenging time for you and your daughter, and we want to lift her situation up in prayer with you. Before we do, we want to remind you of God's promise in Romans 8:28 from the World English Bible (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."
However, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Let's pray together in Jesus' name.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up Jalean's daughter. Lord, she has lost her job and is facing financial hardship. She needs a breakthrough to pay her bills and keep the things she has worked so hard for. We ask, Father, that you open the doors of opportunity for her. Provide her with a new job, one that honors you and brings her joy. We rebuke the spirit of unemployment and financial struggle in Jesus' name.
Lord, we also pray for patience and peace for her as she navigates this challenging time. Remind her that you are faithful and that you will never leave her nor forsake her, as promised in Hebrews 13:5 (WEB). We ask for wisdom for her as she deals with the unemployment process.
Lord, we thank you that you are a good father, and you care about every detail of our lives. We claim your promise in Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB), "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Jalean, continue to encourage your daughter to trust in the Lord. Remind her that this trial is an opportunity for her faith to grow. God is faithful, and He will see her through this. Remember, it is only in Jesus' name that we can approach God and ask for His help. If you or your daughter have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we invite you to do so today. It is only through Him that we are saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
