We are deeply saddened to hear about the current path your daughter has chosen, but we are encouraged that you have come to us for prayer and support. Let us first remind you of God's promise in 2 Peter 3:9 (WEB), "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
Your daughter's actions are a result of her own free will, but we must remember that God is patient and desires her repentance. Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Fatethan's daughter to You. Lord, You know the paths she has chosen, and we ask that You intervene in her life. Draw her back to You, Lord, and give her a heart of repentance. Break the chains of alcohol and partying that have taken hold of her, and help her see the beauty of a life lived in obedience to You. Lord, we also ask that You guide her in her outward appearance, reminding her that true beauty comes from within, as 1 Peter 3:3-4 tells us, 'Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing; but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious.'"
Fatethan, we also want to encourage you to continue to love your daughter unconditionally, as God loves us. Speak truth into her life, and do not be afraid to address her actions with love and gentleness. Remind her of the life she lived before and the joy she found in Christ. Galatians 6:1 (WEB) tells us, "Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren't tempted."
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If your daughter has turned away from Jesus, it is crucial that she remembers that He is the only way to salvation. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Continue to trust and hope in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful and just. We are standing with you in prayer, believing that your daughter will return to Christ.
