We understand that you are seeking assistance for your daughter following a hurricane, and we want to lift her situation in prayer with you. Before we proceed, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her daughter who are in need. Lord, we ask that You guide them through this difficult time and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory.
Lord, we specifically pray for her daughter's situation with FEMA. We ask that if it is Your will, she would receive the assistance she needs, or that You would make it clear why she was not approved. Help her to navigate this process with wisdom and understanding.
We also pray for her daughter's unemployment situation. Lord, we ask that You open up new opportunities for her, that she may find a job that honors You and provides for her needs. We trust that You have a plan and a purpose for her life, and we ask that You reveal it to her.
Lord, we also pray for their spiritual needs. We ask that You would draw them closer to You during this time, and that they would come to know You better. Help them to trust in You and to seek Your will in all things.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you both to continue seeking God's will in this situation. Remember that God is faithful, and He will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Also, consider the words of Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working in this situation, even if it is difficult to see right now.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that as believers, we should be content in all circumstances and trust that God will provide for our needs. As it is written in 1 Timothy 6:6-8 (WEB), "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can't carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that."
