We understand your concern for your daughter Jennifer and her friends as they embark on their trip to Tennessee. It's wonderful that you've brought this to God in prayer. Let us join you in petitioning for their safety and protection.
Firstly, let's prayerfully declare God's promises over them. As it is written in Psalm 91:11-12 (WEB), "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you won't strike your foot against a stone." We trust that God will dispatch His angels to protect Jennifer and her friends throughout their journey.
We also pray for their travels, that God would be with them, protect them, and bring them home safely. In Psalm 121:7-8 (WEB), we read, "Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forevermore." We claim this promise for Jennifer and her friends.
However, we would like to remind you and Jennifer to always be mindful of the company she keeps. The Bible warns us in 1 Corinthians 15:33 (WEB), "Donβt be deceived! 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals.'" We encourage Jennifer to surround herself with friends who fear God and live according to His principles.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your protection and guidance for Jennifer and her friends as they travel. Be their shield and their fortress. Keep them from harm and danger, and bring them back home safely. Influence their friendship, Lord, that they may encourage one another in righteousness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying for Jennifer and her friends, trusting that God hears and answers our prayers. Always remember to pray in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6).
