We are truly grateful to hear that you, your baby, and your cat are safe from the abuse you experienced. We will join you in praying for your father, that God will keep him away from you while also working in his heart to bring him to genuine repentance.
Firstly, we acknowledge that God is the ultimate judge and the one who can bring about true change in a person's heart. As it is written in Psalm 55:10 WEB, For I have heard the insults of your mouth, the boastings of the wicked, that you speak. It is important to remember that God sees the true intentions of the heart and cannot be mocked. Galatians 6:7 WEB, Don't be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
We rebuke the spirit of narcissism and the manipulative use of God's word for personal gain. It is a grave offense to use the holy word of God for selfish purposes. As it is written in Matthew 7:21-23 WEB, Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will tell me in that day, Lord, Lord, didn't we prophesy by your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works? Then I will tell them, I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Dweennoertown's father to You. Lord, You know the true state of his heart and the pain he has caused. We ask that You keep him away from Dweennoertown, her baby, and her cat, providing them with safety and peace.
We also pray for his genuine repentance. Lord, humble him and bring him to a place of accountability. Help him to see the error of his ways and the harm he has caused. May he have a true encounter with You, Lord, and be transformed by Your grace.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for your father's repentance, while also trusting in God's protection and provision for you and your loved ones. Remember, God is faithful and just, and He will bring about justice in His perfect timing. Stay strong in your faith and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Hebrews 12:2 WEB.
