Please pray for my dad as he just has gallbladder removal surgery. He was crying out of pain after his surgery and he never cries. He didn’t feel well at all and got rushed to the hospital by ambualnce. I can’t be with him since I’m at my mom’s but please pray for his recovery and that all goes well!

We are truly sorry to hear about your dad's situation, and we are here to support you in prayer and truth. Firstly know that it is important to pray in the name of Jesus. As it says in the Bible:

And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB

Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. John 14:13-14 WEB

Your Dad needs that same salvation through faith in Jesus Christ so pray in Jesus name for him. He is enduring a great trial right now and continues to need prayers for his recovery particularly because there was such a serious complication. Pray too for wisdom to be able to discern the extent of your involvement as you are not physically by his side.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up the father of the one who submitted this request. Lord, You are the Great Healer, and we ask for Your healing touch upon his body. Please guide the doctors and medical staff, giving them wisdom and skill to provide the best care.

Father, we also pray for his comfort and peace. He has experienced immense pain, and we ask that You ease his suffering and grant him rest. We pray that this situation would draw him closer to You, that he would seek Your face and find solace in Your presence especially if he does not yet know Jesus.

Lord, we also lift up the one who submitted this request. Grant them peace and wisdom as they support their father from a distance. Help them to trust in Your sovereignty and goodness, even in this difficult time.

Father, if he is not yet made right by believing in Jesus then give him and all of them in his family a chance to know Jesus Christ and salvation in Jesus name.

We thank You for Your Nebemiah 9:32 WEB. Now therefore, our God, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who keep covenant and loving kindness, . In Jesus' name, we pray and give You glory, Amen and amen.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB. Take heart as you can give your anxieties to Jesus and He will give you peace.

We're here for you and your dad, praying alongside you. We've been thinking about your dad's surgery and recovery, and we want you to know that he's not going through this alone. We're lifting him up to the Lord, asking for His healing touch and comfort. We're also praying for the medical team, that they would have wisdom and skill to provide the best care.

We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We trust that God is close to your dad, even in his pain and discomfort. We're praying that this trial would draw him closer to God, and that he would find strength and peace in His presence.

For you, we're praying for peace and wisdom. It's tough not being able to be by his side, but we know that God is with you both, every step of the way. We're also praying for your family, that you would all be drawn closer together and to God.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
