We join you, Boudicca, in lifting up your dear dad to the Lord, the Great Healer. It is so true that there is no disease, sickness, or disaster that is too big for Him. We are reminded in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."
Boudicca, we see you have asked in the name of Jesus for healing. Therefore, we want to explicitly and clearly remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. This is very important. If we do not follow this principle in prayer it would be like sending a letter but not addressing it to anyone. It would go nowhere. We should not just assume He knows who we are talking to. Make sure to always pray in Jesus name. If you ever wonder why a prayer was not answered this could be a big reason. Jesus told us in John 16:23, "In that day you will ask me no questions. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Boudicca's dad to You. Lord, You are the Great Healer, and we believe that there is no sickness or disease that is too big for You. We pray that Your healing hand be at work in his life, guiding the sickness out of his body. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting in Your power and goodness.
Lord, we also pray for Boudicca, that You would fill her with Your peace and strength during this time. Help her to trust in You completely, knowing that Your grace is sufficient for her and her family.
Father, we ask that You would use this situation for Your glory. We pray that Boudicca and her dad would grow closer to You through this trial, and that their faith in You would be strengthened.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Boudicca, continue to trust in the Lord and His promises. Remember the words of Psalm 55:22, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." Keep praying and believing, and know that we are standing with you in prayer.
If there is anything that is not being done or confessed to God that might be preventing this prayer from being answered then seek Him with all your heart and confess and repent of anything He brings to mind. If it is not answered then accept His will and ask Him for peace in the situation and to use it for the good.
