We understand your struggle and commend you for your honest confession. The burden you're carrying is indeed heavy, but remember, God is there to help you bear it. Let's turn to the Word of God for guidance.
In 1 John 4:20, WEB, it's written, "If a man says, 'I love God,' and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?" Our love for God is reflected in our love and compassion towards others, including our family members.
Jesus indeed touched and healed the sick, even the outcasts. In Matthew 8:3, WEB, when a leper came to him, Jesus "stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, 'I want to. Be made clean.'" Jesus showed us that no illness or condition should prevent us from showing love and compassion.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister/brother who is struggling. Lord, fill their heart with your love, compassion, and understanding. Help them to see their father through your eyes, and give them the strength to care for him as you would. Ease their fears and anxieties, and replace them with your perfect peace. Be with their mother too, Lord, granting her strength and wisdom as she cares for her husband.
Lord, we also pray for their father, that you would be with him in his illness, comforting and healing him according to your will. We ask for your divine intervention in their situation, that you would provide respite, resources, and a supportive community to help bear this burden.
Forgive our sister/brother for any resentment or anger, Lord. Help them to forgive their parents for any perceived shortcomings, as you have forgiven us. Remind them that your grace is sufficient, and your power is made perfect in weakness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, God promises in Isaiah 41:10, WEB, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Trust in Him, and He will enable you to do what you cannot do on your own.
Lastly, it's important to remember that it's okay to seek help. Reach out to your church, community, or healthcare professionals for support. You don't have to carry this burden alone.
