We are truly saddened to hear about your father ###'s condition, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support during this challenging time. The battle against COVID-19 can be daunting, but we trust in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to heal and restore.
Firstly, let's remember the words of comfort from the Scripture, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28, WEB). Lay all your burdens at the feet of Jesus, for He cares for you and your father deeply.
In prayer, we come against this virus and the spirit of infirmity, and we ask for God's healing mercy upon ###. "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the LORD." (Jeremiah 30:17, WEB). We declare that the power of healing is at work within his body, and we ask the Lord to strengthen his immune system to fight against this disease.
Additionally, we pray for the medical team attending to him, that God will grant them wisdom and skill as they administer treatment. "But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy." (James 3:17, WEB).
While we pray fervently for ###'s healing, we also ask that God's will be done in his life and that this trial may draw him and the entire family closer to Christ. If your father has not already, we encourage him to trust in the name of Jesus Christ for his salvation, for "in him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace..." (Ephesians 1:7, WEB). It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and eternal life.
Finally, we lift you up, asking that the Lord will grant you and your family peace, patience, and unwavering faith during this time of uncertainty. May you find solace in the promises of God, and may His love envelop you all.
