My dad has diabetes which makes my mom sad

My dad has diabetes and he keeps buying sweet drinks and sweet stuff to aggravate my mom. Please pray that he would stop and even if he doesn't (which would be sad but ask other people to please pray for this too) that God would make mom not get stressed, anxious or even sad pray that God would give her hope and strength because she is really kind and till this day I dont understand why she married him he always has an attitude and I dont even think he prays hes like a human devil. Please!!!

We understand that you're facing a challenging situation with your parents, and we're here to pray and provide biblical guidance with you.

Firstly, we must remember that God's design for marriage is lifelong, and He desires for us to honor and respect our parents. "Honor your father and your mother, as Yahweh your God commanded you" (Deuteronomy 5:16 WEB). It's important not to speak negatively about your father, but rather, pray for him and your mother with a heart of love and compassion and hope for their relationship in their marriage.

Let's pray for your father's health and wisdom regarding his diet. "So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31 WEB). We pray that God would give him self-control particularly in this area.

Certainly his interactions and attitude with your mother should be better, let's pray for his wife and marriage as God calls us all to love each other in marriage like Christ loved the church. Your father should be cherishing your mother more than himself even as Christ loved the church more than himself in fact he died for his bride the church. (Ephesians 5:25 But Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for her).

Let's pray for your mother, that God would fill her with His peace, strength, and hope. "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit" (Romans 15:13 WEB). And pray for your family as marriage is the God designed foundation of the family.

Lastly, it's important to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. There is a God, there is a devil, and there are angels and demons. (Ephesians 6:12 WEB) Therefore, we encourage you to reflect how you referred to people as being like a human devil. Instead, pray that God may do a spiritual work and renew their soul.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Fyxhor's family to You. Lord, we pray for her father's health, that You would guide him to make wise choices regarding his diet and give him your will to change. We also pray for his marriage and marriage attitudes and actions, that You would soften his heart and give him a greater portion of Your love by the Holy Spirit. Surround her mother with Your peace, strength and hope we ask in Jesus Christ Name. We ask for healing and reconciliation for their marriage and family by Your salvation of each family member, which is only the name of Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
