**Pray in Jesus' name!**
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Cheraend's dad to you. We acknowledge that you are the God who is able to save and transform lives. We pray for a divine intervention in his life, that you would open his heart to the truth of your love and the saving power of Jesus Christ.
Lord, we ask that you would break the chains of addiction that hold him captive to alcohol. We pray for a supernatural deliverance from this bondage, that he may experience freedom and restoration in every area of his life. Your Word says in Matthew 19:26, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." We believe that you have the power to set him free.
Father, we also pray for a revelation of your Son, Jesus Christ, in his life. Soften his heart and remove any barriers that prevent him from accepting Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Your Word reminds us in John 6:44, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them." We ask that you draw him close to you and reveal your love and grace to him.
Lord, we lift up Cheraend as well, as they stand in faith and intercede for their dad. Strengthen their faith and grant them peace and patience as they wait for your perfect timing. Surround them with your love and give them wisdom and discernment in how to support and encourage their dad on his journey towards you.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. We trust in your unfailing love and believe that you are working behind the scenes, even when we cannot see it. May your name be glorified through the transformation of Cheraend's dad's life.

I can understand your concern for your dad, friend. I just said a prayer for him. May Jesus draw him into a personal relationship with Himself, deliver him from his addiction and help him experience the joy of walking with Him. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this comforting thought from the psalmist: "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth." (Psalm 145: 18).
