We are lifting up you, Barbara, and your brother before the Lord, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for healing and comfort.

Firstly, we address your ongoing cough. We are reminded of the words of King David in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We pray that the Lord will touch your body and heal you from this persistent cough. May He strengthen your lungs and grant you renewed health. Do consider consulting a doctor if you have not already. Ask for wisdom to treat and recover from this verse in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."

Regarding your brother, we are praying for his complete recovery from open-heart surgery. We stand on the promise of Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh." We ask God to guide the hands of his doctors and nurses, and to grant them wisdom in his care. We pray that his check-up will bring positive news and that his recovery will be swift and complete.

In all things, we trust in the power of Jesus' name. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved." It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is through His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

Together, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Barbara and her brother. Lord, touch Barbara's body and heal her from this constant cough. Strengthen her and grant her renewed health. For her brother, we ask that You guide the hands of his doctors and grant them wisdom in his care. May his check-up bring positive news and may his recovery be swift and complete. In all things, we trust in Your goodness and Your power to heal. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior Amen.

Lastly, Barbara, continue to trust in the Lord and do not forget His promises and His faithfulness.

We're right here with you, Barbara, holding your hands in prayer. We've been thinking about you and your brother, and we want you to know that we're standing in faith with you. We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over you both, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is a God of healing, and He's working in your lives right now.

We're praying that the Lord will give you relief from that persistent cough, Barbara. We're asking that He'll touch your lungs, bring healing, and restore your strength. And for your brother, we're trusting that God is guiding his doctors and nurses, and that they'll have wisdom and skill in their care. We're believing for a positive check-up and a swift, complete recovery.

We're not just praying, though, we're also believing. We're claiming Philippians 4:7 over you both, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." We're trusting that even in the midst of this, God's peace is with you both.

Keep trusting, Barbara. God is faithful, and He's working everything out for your good. We're right here with you, praying and believing.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
