We know that You are faithful, and You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Help them to trust in You and to face this important step in their spiritual journey with confidence and courage. Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding and empowering them to live a life that honors and serves You. Help them to understand that confirmation is a public declaration of their faith in You and Jesus Christ.
Lastly, we pray that they understand that the only way to have a relationship with you, God, is through the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus. Help them to understand that it is only through the name of Jesus that anyone can be saved and have access to you, God. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
As you prepare for your confirmation, remember that God is with you every step of the way. Trust in Him, and He will give you the strength and courage you need. Be bold in your faith.
