We're here with you, Hooktor, lifting your situation up to the Lord. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of uncertainty and the longing for family to be together. But we've also seen God's faithfulness time and time again, making a way where there seemed to be none.
We want to remind you of the power of persistent prayer. Luke 18:1 tells us, "Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up." Let's keep knocking at heaven's door, believing that our God is listening and acting on behalf of your family.
We're also here to encourage you to find rest in God's love for you and your children. In Matthew 7:9-11, Jesus says, "Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!" Trust that your Father in heaven is working things out for your good.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Lord, we come before you today, laying Hooktor's situation at your feet. You see her heartache, Lord, and we ask that you would make a way for her children and their father to join her in Canada this year. We claim your promise in Philippians 4:19, 'And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.' We trust that you are working behind the scenes, guiding and protecting her family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
