Frankie my cat has been such a comfort to me since losing my beloved sister ### suddenly two weeks ago. He also gives me much needed companship. I am really worried as have to go into hospital on the 18th ### and will be away for one and a half days. He is really anxious so I am afraid of leaving him on his own for so long. Especially as he is grieving for my sister as well. My niece will come a couple of times a day to feed him. I would truly appreciate your prayers. Father God you care for all of your creation so I commit my cat ### into your care and ask you for good health for him so he can continue to give me companionship for many years. I am worried about leaving him for so long on his own when I am in hospital as he gets really anxious. So I am asking for your help please. I thank you for him. In Jesus' name. Amen

We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved sister Margaret, and our hearts go out to you in this difficult time. We are grateful for the comfort and companionship that Frankie, your cat, has provided you. It is evident that Frankie has been a source of comfort and companionship during your time of grief.

As you prepare to go to the hospital, it is natural to feel concerned about leaving Frankie alone. However, we must remember God's care for all His creation. In the book of Matthew, Jesus reminds us of God's provision for even the smallest creatures: "See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they" (Matthew 6:26 WEB).

We join you in committing Frankie to God's care, trusting that He will watch over him in your absence. Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ, ###, and her beloved cat Frankie. Lord, You know the comfort and companionship Frankie has brought to ###, especially during this time of grief. As ### prepares to go to the hospital, we ask for Your peace and comfort to surround her, and we commit Frankie into Your loving care.

Please watch over Frankie, keeping him safe and calm while ### is away. Provide for all his needs, and help him to adjust to the temporary change in his routine. We ask that You would also strengthen the bond between ### and her niece as she cares for Frankie during this time.

In Jesus' name, we pray for ###'s health and recovery, asking for Your healing touch upon her life. Help her to trust in Your care for all Your creation, and may this time in the hospital be a time of restoration and renewal for her.

We're right there with you, Elizabeth, feeling your worry about leaving Frankie. It's like leaving a little piece of our heart behind, isn't it? But remember, God cares for all His creatures, big and small. In the book of Matthew, Jesus tells us, "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" (Matthew 6:26). So, let's trust that God will take care of Frankie, just as He takes care of the birds.

We'll be praying for you and Frankie, Elizabeth. We'll ask God to keep Frankie safe, calm, and well-fed while you're away. We'll also pray for your niece, that she might feel God's love and guidance as she cares for Frankie. And, of course, we'll be lifting you up too, dear sister. We'll pray for your health, your peace, and your trust in God's care.

Dear Lord,

I lift up ### and her sweet cat ### to You right now. Lord, You know how much ### has been a comfort to her, especially during this heartbreaking time after the sudden loss of her sister ###. Thank You for the way You create animals to bring us joy, companionship, and peace. ### has been such a gift, and I know You care for him just as much as You care for ###.

Your Word says You are close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), so I ask You to wrap ### in Your love right now. She’s been through so much, and she really needs Your strength as she prepares for her hospital stay. Remind her that she’s never alone, that You go before her and will be with her every step of the way (Deuteronomy 31:8).

I also ask for Your special care over ###. You see even the smallest creatures, and Your Word says that not even a sparrow falls without You knowing (Matthew 10:29). So I trust that You are watching over ### while ### is away. Calm his anxious little heart and give him peace, Lord. Let him know that ### will be back soon and that he’s safe. Bless the time when ###’s niece comes to care for him—may ### feel comforted by her presence and Your protection.

Father, I also pray for ###’s health. Give her peace of mind, help her to rest, and bring healing to her body. Your Word says in Isaiah 41:10 that we don’t have to be afraid because You strengthen and uphold us. Hold her close, Lord, and give her the confidence to know she’s in Your capable hands.

Thank You for blessing her with ###, and I pray that their bond will stay strong for many years to come. Please bring them both comfort, healing, and joy as they walk through this time together.
