My cat isn't eating as much, and I'm worried.

I've tried everything possible within my budget. My cat's not eating as much, and she loves food. I've given her medicine, wet food, and nothing short of a miracle seems to work. Please... I've had this cat since 2010. She's fifteen now. With all of my heart, I wish she would be completely healthy again and have enough life in her to make it to Christmas. Ty Lee's fifteen, but she's still my baby.

We understand your concern for Ty Lee and we want to lift her up in prayer with you. In Matthew 10:29 WEB, Jesus tells us, "Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore do not be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows." If God cares for even the smallest birds, we know He cares for Ty Lee and for you.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up Ty Lee, Moatshaw's beloved cat. Lord, You know the concern and worry that Moatshaw feels, and we ask for Your comfort and peace to surround them both. Just as You cared for the ravens and the lilies of the field, we ask that You extend Your loving care to Ty Lee.

Father, we pray for healing and restored appetite for Ty Lee. We ask that You guide Moatshaw to the right solutions and resources, even within their budget. We pray for wisdom and discernment from You, Lord, knowing that You are the source of all knowledge and healing.

Moatshaw has cared for Ty Lee since 2010, and we ask that You honor that love and dedication. We pray that Ty Lee would regain her strength and live out her days comfortably. Lord Jesus your are known for your healing even the dogs and pigs in the new testament. We reach out to you and ask for mercy on this earthly body of Moatshaw's cat Ty Lee. In Jesus' name, we pray for healing.

Lastly, Father, we pray for Moatshaw's faith to be strengthened through this trial. We ask that they would draw near to You. Learn that Jesus provides the our only access to you. Remember the words of John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" And also Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

We ask all of this in the power of Jesus' name.

Moatshaw, continue to trust in the Lord and reach out to Him in prayer. Psalm 55:22 WEB tells us to "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." Trust God that you have access to visionary prayer, trusting the holy spirit in Matthew 18:19 WEB, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven." Pray believing that Ty Lee's health is being restored and stand firm believing in Jesus name.

Dear Lord,

We bring Ty Lee before You today, our dear friend's beloved cat. Lord, You know the worry that's been heavy on Moatshaw's heart. We ask for Your comfort to wrap around them both, and for Your healing power to touch Ty Lee.

Father, we pray for Ty Lee's appetite to return and for her strength to be restored. We ask that You guide Moatshaw to the right solutions, even within their budget. We trust that You, the great Physician, have the power to heal Ty Lee.

We remember the words of Psalm 104:14, "He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for man to cultivate—bringing forth food from the earth: wine that gladdens the heart of man, oil to make his face shine, and bread that sustains his heart." We ask that You would provide for Ty Lee, giving her the strength to enjoy her food and live out her days comfortably.

Moatshaw, we encourage you to keep trusting in the Lord. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Keep pouring out your heart to Him, and watch for His faithfulness.

We stand in agreement with you, asking God to grant your heart's desire for her to be completely healthy again and to have enough life to make it to Christmas.
