My brother's new neuroleptic treatment is causing him

Anonymous

Beloved of All
My brother's new neuroleptic treatment is causing him to shout and complain all the time, he is shouting in my ears and we are both on the verge of depression, after emotional shock. Moreover,my boyfriend of fifteeen years has just told me he was thinking of going away on vacation by himself because he cannot put up with my loud brother of whom I have to take care. May God soften both my boyfriend and brother's hearts towards me; I so need His help and mercy to intervene in our lives at this critical time!

I would say talk to the nueurologist about the side affects of the treatments, and tell him about the problem it's causing. Perhaps it can be modified or changed. If so, and if that works, second step, tell the boyfriend of the positive change.Meantime, I pray the situation works out for you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

The doctor has recently changed my brother's neuroleptic treatment; my mother and I fear his reactions. May it be effective and well tolerated, even with a lower dosage. May he be able to stay at home with us (with no hospitalization) and get better each day, we pray, in Jesus Name! Amen.
