We understand your concern for your brother and your mother's well-being. Let's bring your requests to the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance through the Scriptures.
Firstly, it's important to pray for your brother's spiritual growth and maturity. In Philippians 1:9-11 (WEB), it is written, And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment; so that ye may approve the things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and void of offence unto the day of Christ; being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our ###. We pray that You will help him to grow in maturity, patience, and self-control. Lord, help him to be slow to anger and quick to listen. Give him the strength and wisdom to care for our ### with kindness and diligence. Help him understand the needs of your ### and respond appropriately.
We also pray for your brother's salvation and relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In Acts 4:12 (WEB), it is written, And in none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved.
Regarding the situation with your mother, it's important to remember the fifth commandment, Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you; that your days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with you, in the land which the Lord your God gives you. Deuteronomy 5:16 (WEB). Caring for our parents is a responsibility that the Lord commands us to take seriously.
We are concerned that your brother is not managing his responsibilities well, but we must address a possible sin of judging others which also must stop. In Matthew 7:3-5 (WEB), it is written, Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye? Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and behold, the beam is in your own eye? You hypocrite! First, remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye.
Let's pray for guidance and strength for both of you:
Lord, help us to work together as a family, to communicate effectively, and to support each other in love. Guide us in making the right decisions for our ###'s care, and give us the strength and wisdom to be the children You have called us to be.
Regarding the cleanliness of your mother's home, we pray that the Lord will convict your brother's heart and help him to understand the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment for your ###. In Colossians 3:23 (WEB), it is written, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men.
Finally, we pray for your strength and wisdom as you care for your mother and plan her diet. May the Lord guide you and give you the resources you need to provide the best care for her.
In all things, let's remember to trust in the Lord and to seek His will. In Romans 8:28 (WEB), it is written, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
