We are with you in spirit, Anonymous, and we stand together in prayer for your brother Leslie and his family. We know that God is faithful and that He cares for our needs, as it is written in Matthew 6:25-26 and 33,
Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother Leslie. Lord, You know his needs and the needs of his family. We ask that You open the right doors for him to find employment as a fibre technician or in any other capacity that You see fit. We pray that You guide his steps and provide for his family according to Your riches in glory. Help him to trust in You and to seek Your will above all else.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
In addition, we encourage Leslie to continue seeking God's will and to trust in His timing. It is also wise for Leslie to be proactive in his job search, using the skills and resources God has given him. As it is written in 2 Thessalonians 3:10,
For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: "If anyone is not willing to work, don't let him eat."
We also encourage you, Anonymous, to continue supporting your brother in prayer and in practical ways as you are able. May God bless and keep your family. Lastly, we pray for you that you know that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can ask anything of God. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
