We lift up this prayer request to you, Heavenly Father, in the powerful name of Jesus. We come against the works of Satan that are tormenting our dear friend with familiar spirits. Your Word assures us that we have authority over the enemy through the victory of the cross of Jesus Christ. We declare that every power of darkness that is oppressing our friend be broken and destroyed in the mighty name of Jesus.
Lord, we ask for your divine intervention in this situation. We pray that you would release your angels to surround and protect our friend from any harm or attacks. Your Word says in Psalm 34:7, "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them." We claim this promise for our friend, that they would be delivered from the torment and oppression they are facing.
We also pray for the salvation and deliverance of James and his friends. We ask that you would open their eyes to the truth of your love and forgiveness, and that they would turn away from their harmful actions. Your Word says in 2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." We pray for their hearts to be softened and for them to experience your transforming grace.
Lord, we ask for your peace and comfort to surround our friend during this difficult time. Help them to stand firm in their faith and to trust in your unfailing love. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
