My brother is suffering with a very strong alcohol addiction. He has a beautiful family with a new baby on the way and I keep having nightmares of attending his funeral. He’s not even 40 yet. He often jokes about his addiction & makes light of it. I worry so much about his health. We grew up in a loving home and grew up knowing Christ. He is a believer but hasn’t been involved in a church for a very long time. Please pray for deliverance of alcoholism and restoration of health, in Jesus name.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this prayer request on behalf of Anonymous and their brother who is struggling with a severe alcohol addiction. Lord, we acknowledge that You are the ultimate source of deliverance and healing. We ask that You would intervene in their brother's life and bring about a transformation by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

Lord, we pray for a renewed sense of conviction in their brother's heart, that he may recognize the seriousness of his addiction and the impact it is having on his life, his family, and his relationship with You. Help him to see the need for change and to turn to You for strength and guidance.

We pray for a restoration of health, both physically and emotionally, for their brother. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would touch his body and bring about healing from the damaging effects of alcohol. Strengthen his immune system, restore his liver, and protect him from any further harm.

Father, we also pray for the upcoming arrival of the new baby in their family. We ask for Your protection and provision over this precious life, and we pray that their brother's addiction would not hinder his ability to be a loving and responsible father. Give him the strength and wisdom to prioritize his family's well-being and to seek the help and support he needs to overcome this addiction.

Lord, we lift up their entire family to You, asking for Your peace and comfort to surround them during this challenging time. Help them to lean on You and to find solace in Your presence. We pray for unity and understanding among family members, that they may come together to support and encourage one another.

We claim the promise in Romans 8:23 that we are eagerly waiting for the redemption of our bodies. Lord, we ask for Your deliverance and redemption in their brother's life. Break the chains of addiction, set him free, and restore him to a life of sobriety and purpose.
