Romans 2:4 tells us, "Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?" Your brother's anger might be a cry for help, and your gentle response could lead him to seek God's transforming power.
Let's also remember the power of prayer. James 5:16 assures us, "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and brings great results."

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
