Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother Roy who is facing a difficult battle with advanced esophageal cancer that has spread to his liver. Lord, we are devastated by this news and we humbly ask for your intervention and healing touch upon his life.
Firstly, we pray for Roy's spiritual journey. We ask that you reveal yourself to him in a powerful way, drawing him closer to you and opening his heart to receive your love and grace. May he come to know you as his Lord and Savior, finding comfort and strength in your presence.
Lord, we also lift up Roy's physical condition. We pray for the success of the stent that has been placed in his esophagus, that it may alleviate his pain and allow him to eat without difficulty. We ask for your divine healing to flow through his body, targeting every cancerous cell and bringing about complete restoration. We pray that the upcoming chemotherapy treatment on Monday will be effective in shrinking the cancer and extending Roy's life.
Father, we know that you are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for you. We ask for your supernatural intervention in Roy's life, bringing healing, strength, and comfort. Take away his pain, restore his appetite, and alleviate any side effects from the treatment. Surround him with your peace and fill him with your presence.
We also pray for Roy's family during this challenging time. Comfort them, Lord, and give them the strength and faith to support Roy in his journey. May they experience your peace that surpasses all understanding and find solace in knowing that you are in control.
We thank you, Father, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. We trust in your perfect will and surrender this situation into your hands. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
